As United Methodists we are called to give our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service and our witness. The church has financial obligations just as any business our household does. For those that can contribute monetarily it helps the church to continue to function within a healthy budget and serve the community. There are always avenues to give above your tithe to help the greater community at large and help in times of special circumstances like recovery from natural disasters like Hurricane Helene and Milton. Prayer is also another way to contribute to the local church, support your fellow congregants, and the larger community as well. Attending worship services and also functions of the church; as well as activities sponsored by the church help us fulfill our vow of presence and service. In our every day life we have opportunities to share our witness, but sometimes we can combine that with service to help at the Thrift Store or volunteer at the pumpkin patch or help coach or serve in the concession stand at Upwards Soccer just to name a few. If you are looking to make a donation be it monetarily or through the giving of you time or talents, check back here regularly to see what is available.
